This summer at the Library was a whirlwind… a staggering 135 people signed up for the summer reading program! Eight grand prizes were given away to some deserving folks.
The ice cream social was such a huge success. There were double the people that attended in 2022 and 180 Ice cream treats were handed out!
The library attended and participated in the parade and children’s festival in July and again, a great success! While the amount of candy was greatly underestimated, people didn’t even seem to mind because they were so excited to see the library in the parade!
For summer programs, the library was at full capacity and people were always wanting more… The DIY station was a hit every week, and we are already planning exciting new crafts and projects for next year!
Two Mom’s Night Out events were hosted this summer, with an amazing reception from the community, and the library looks forward to hosting more events, just like it, throughout the fall.
The Tween Nights were another exciting thing that started over the summer, and a Nintendo Switch and accessories were purchased, with donation money, and we are going to try and host a monthly Switch night, as well as a tween/teen movie night!
The Three Hills Municipal Library just wants to acknowledge everyone in our amazing community, including the Town of Three Hills, and Kneehill County, for supporting the library and being so vital to its success. The library would not be as amazing as it is without the support of the community. The library looks forward to continuing to offer fulfilling, affordable, and meaningful programs for all.
