The newspaper recycle bins CANNOT accept: wrapping paper, bond paper, envelopes, bills & shredded paper.


Pursuant to Section 311 of the Municipal Government Act 2000, R.S.A., Chapter M-26 and any amendments thereto, the 2016 combined Assessment and Tax Notices for the Village of Acme were mailed June 8, 2016 to all assessed property owners, Village of Acme property owners are deemed to have received their Assessment and Tax Notices as a result of this publication.

Please review the property assessment notice carefully.  You may contact the Village at 403-546-3783 or Wild Rose Assessment Services, to Steve Washington at 403-343-3357 to obtain further information on your property.  The assessment roll is open year round for information on comparable properties.  This information can be viewed at the Village Office, 203 Clarke Street during regular office hours.  Please be advised that Credit Cards cannot be used for payment of Taxes.

If you or our agent desire to object to your or any other assessment, you or your agent must complete and file an Assessment Review Board Complaint and Agent Review Board Complaint Form (if an agent is being used) with the:

Complaint and Agent forms are available at 203 Clarke Street.   Appeal deadline is 4:00 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2016; all complaints and payment for applicable fees must be received by the Assessment Review Board Clerk on or before this the deadline.
