CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC – The Village of Carbon Office is closed to the public until further notice.

COUNCIL PACKAGES – Interested in being a Councillor? Election packages are available at the Village Office. A $100.00 deposit is required when the Election Package is submitted. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - VILLAGE OF CARBON LIBRARY BOARD – The Village of Carbon Library Board is seeking a Secretary, Treasurer, and new members with innovative ideas. THANK YOU! – The Village of Carbon would like to say “THANK YOU” to Kneehill County for the Operational Funding provided by Kneehill County to Recreation in the amount of $37,500 and to the Carbon Fire Department in the amount of $42,789.00. We greatly appreciate all the funding Kneehill County contributes to the Village of Carbon.

• SUMMER LIFEGUARDS - The Village of Carbon is now accepting applications for the 2021 Centennial Swimming Pool Lifeguard Staff including Junior & Senior Lifeguards. Returning lifeguards, please apply. All experienced lifeguards welcome. First aid, bronze medallion and bronze cross required, WSI not required but recommended. Due to COVID -19, lifeguard courses were suspended in 2020. Preference will be given to applicants that pursue lifeguard (re)certification when courses resume. Please contact the Village for more information. Deadline: March 15.

• SEASONAL SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT – PUBLIC WORKS LABOURERS

Main duties include mowing, weed maintenance, painting, and indoor/outdoor clean-up. Applicants must be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions. One (1) position starts April 26 – August 27. One (1) position to start July 2 – August 27. Ages 15 - 30, 40 hours per week. Drivers Licence preferred, but not required. Deadline: March 15.

• CAMPGROUND ATTENDANT - Carbon is accepting applications for a Part-time contracted campground attendant. Hours per week approximately 10-15, evenings & weekends. Camping season is May - October. Contact Village Office for list of duties. Deadline: March 15.
