The Circus Comes To Town

Circus Wonderland came to the Three Hills Centennial Arena on July 24 and presented two shows. Each show lasted 90 minutes including the intermission at which time the children were encouraged to have parents buy a souvenir flashing red clown nose or have a picture taken with the “unicorn” or buy other toys or have a ride on the live pony carousel. Kid’s Zone got off to a great start on Monday, July 24 at Anderson Park in Three Hills. The event goes every evening at 6:30 pm up until Friday, July 28. There’s games, prizes, puppets, music and more. Kid’s Zone is hosted by the Prairie Tabernacle Congregation. It’s free and everyone is welcome to join in.

Rosebud Chamber Music Festival Coming To Three Hills Saturday, July 8

Rosebud Chamber Music Festival has started, and runs July 4-9. Rosebud String Quartet and friends will be delighting audiences on Saturday, July 8 at the Three Hills Arts Academy.

The busy performers, instructors, soloists and orchestra musicians from Edmonton, Toronto, and Montreal have all experienced remarkable highlights since they were in Three Hills last summer.

The Chateau, in Three Hills, hosted a wedding-themed High Tea on June 26, with a Wedding Dress Fashion Show featuring vintage dresses to current fashions. The oldest dress was worn in 1933, and the newest bride wore her dress in June of this year. There were 46 dresses along with their stories, some modelled and the rest on display. A grand piano made its debut with Connie Canfield playing the Wedding March.
