The Annual Three Hills Library Easter Egg Hunt was held Saturday, April 1. Children's Programmer, Susan Habermehl was the organizer. The hunt was for children to age seven, with over 60 children and adults enjoying the fun. The invitation was to search for Easter eggs, among the stacks, make a spring craft, play Easter games, poke a prize from the gigantic egg, and visit with the spring animal guests.

Kneehill Regional Family and Community Support Services hosted a Little Veterinarian School session at their office in Three Hills on Saturday, March 25th. Ann Roque, from Little Medical School in Calgary, and 12 participants, assumed the role of veterinarians and learned how to perform nose-to-tail exams, the importance of proper nutrition, and tick checks.

Trochu Ag Society’s Winter Family Fun Day was held Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Trochu Agricultural Grounds, from 1-4 pm. The weather cooperated and a good crowd, of all ages, enjoyed the bonfire, hot dogs, hot chocolate and wagon rides (provided by Rolyn Hills Ranch).

On the evening of Saturday, February 18, eight talented contestants battled it out for bragging rights at the Chili Cook-Off at the Swalwell Hall hosted by the Swalwell Community Association Event.

Winner Wilma Fyten, Second Place Bert Dykstra and Third TaraLee Gall were victorious as voted by the crowd attending. Proceeds from the event will support Kneehill Victim Services, who also provided information on their community involvement.
