It was a bittersweet setback for singer-songwriter Kirsten Jones at the Canadian Country Music Awards this week as the sweet-singing alt-country performer lost out to Jimmy Rankin for the CCMA's Roots Artist of the Year Award. Albertan Corb Lund had won the award the previous two years.
