Back in time
Three Hills and area residents had the opportunity to step back in time Saturday, June 19 at the Kneehill Museum Demonstration Day. There were demonstrations on threshing, blacksmithing, rope making, sheep shearing, horse shoeing and more. There was music and song and fresh buns with hand churned butter and there were Boom Town Tales by Historical Characters. For all ages there was a petting zoo, popcorn, Prairie lemonade and homemade pie. Got to threehillscapital.com for video of this event.
Sales Brisk
Three Hills and District Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Three Hills partnered in hosting their Annual Main Street Garage Sale and "Catch the Spirit" Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, June 19. About 35 vendors filled Main Street with items of all descriptions and price ranges. Sales were brisk under perfect summer conditions. About $1,500 was raised through donations toward the new Three Hills Wading Pool and Splash Park as a result of the breakfast that served about 900 people.
