To raise funds for the Acme Alumni Association, Linden is planning to host a human foosball tournament during Linden's Sports Day on June 12. Eight teams of six people (age of 13 years and older) are required with each team guaranteed at least two games.
The foosball game is 40 feet in length by 20 feet wide with sides that are 4 feet high. Each person is strapped in as a player in the game and tries to score on the opponent's goal with a regular size soccer ball. Each game will consist of two 10

Linden and District Agricultural Society has really stepped up with some fun action for this year's annual Sports Day, to be held June 12. It might just be that "Magical Day in the Country" they've been advertising.
Perhaps one of the biggest highlights will be an outdoor rain or shine evening concert featuring country singer Gord Bamford. It is quite a big deal as he received 'Album of the Decade Honors' in February 2010 by Canadian Country Music News for his album "Honkytonks and Heartaches". H

Opening night of Disney's Beauty and the Beast on May 19 and what can I say? The dictionary tells us that an "entertainer" is a person who entertains, especially professionally on stage etc." And it says that to entertain is "to amuse: occupy agreeably."
