VILLAGE OFFICE INFORMATION
Office Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Closed 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm for lunch.
Closed all Statutory Holidays.
The Village Office is now accepting nominations for the “Volunteer of the Year 2022” Award.
PET LICENSES
Pet license fees are due January 31, 2023.
Please complete the updated forms when you register / renew your animal license.
Licenses can be paid online. Use account #11111 for Dog Licenses and account #22222 for Cat Licenses.
OUTDOOR SKATING RINK
Skating Rink is open for the season. Lights are on from 4:30 pm – 10:00 pm for evening skating.
COMING EVENTS / IMPORTANT DATES
Wednesday, January 25 – Prairie Rose Rebekah Soup and Sandwich Lunch at the Acme Seniors Centre. 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. $7.00 per person. Everyone is welcome to attend!
SNOW AND ICE REMINDERS
Please keep your sidewalks clear of snow and ice. Sand is located at the Fire Hall in the yellow bin for residents to use for their sidewalks. Please bring your own bucket and take only what you need.
Please remove vehicles from the streets after big snowfalls so the streets can be cleared.
Whenever possible, please shovel the snow for your sidewalks and driveways onto your lawn. This will prevent extra snow from accumulating on the roads.
Be a snow angel – help your neighbours shovel their walks.
GARBAGE REMINDERS
Please have household garbage out on Wednesdays by 8:00 am to ensure if it picked up.
Please keep your household garbage limited to 4 bags per week to a maximum of 40 pounds each.
TRANSFER SITE REMINDERS
Transfer Site Hours: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Please drive slowly – speed limit is 15 km/hr.
All carboard MUST be flattened prior to being placed in the recycle bins.
All garbage must be bagged prior to being put into the transfer bins.
