CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR: On behalf of the Village of Carbon Council, I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. I hope you have a safe and enjoyable break, in the company of your loved ones. Remember to reach out to those less fortunate who may be by themselves during the holidays.
COUNCIL MEETINGS: All Council Meetings are at the Village Office at 6 pm. unless otherwise posted. As the Council Chambers remain closed to the public, there is an option to join the Council Meetings by calling the following teleconference number:
1-403-917-1573. This is for listening purposes only – no questions will be answered unless you are on the agenda. Please do not put the line on hold and keep your mute button on.
2022 VILLAGE OF CARBON TAXES: All outstanding 2022 taxes must be paid on or before DECEMBER 31, 2022. If a balance remains on your tax account after this date, an 18% penalty will be applied on January 1, 2023. Taxes may be paid cash, cheque, credit card, debit, e-transfer to admin@villageofcarbon.com, or through online banking using your tax roll number as the account number.
PARKVIEW LODGE: Bachelor Suite, $575.00 monthly rent, includes heat, power, water, sewer, garbage, laundry, 1 parking space, and an assigned small storage space. Not included in rent: cable/satellite TV, phone, and internet. Wireless internet available for an additional charge. A security deposit ($575.00) and 1st month rent ($575.00) are required before moving in. An application form must be completed along with a medical report from a doctor.
