2023 TAXATION NOTICE & PROPERTY ASSESSMENT
In accordance with the Municipal Government Act R.S.A. 2000 M-26 and amendments thereto, notice is hereby given that the 2023 Taxation Notice & Property Assessment notices have been mailed as of June 29, 2023, to the Village of Carbon ratepayers. Property taxes are due August 31, 2023. Tax payments can be made by cash, cheque, credit card, debit, etransfer to admin@villageofcarbon.com referencing your tax roll number in the memo, or online payment using your tax roll number as the account number. The Village of Carbon offers a Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPPS) for ease of payment on your tax account. Contact the Village Office if you are interested in joining. Please review your Property Assessment notice carefully. Before filing a complaint/appeal, please discuss your concerns with the Village Assessor David Clark at Wild Rose Assessments (403) 343-3357. You must file your appeal within 60 days before September 5, 2023.
