BACK TO SCHOOL – As children start heading back to school, we are asking drivers to be extra cautious near intersections and crosswalks around the Village. Please do not park within 5 meters of the crosswalks when dropping your children off at school to ensure other students can be seen by oncoming traffic.
COME & TRY COULEE GOLF – Last year the Village of Linden installed 9-disc golf baskets in the coulee. Join the Linden AG Society on September 9, 2023 and play a round of disc golf from 9 am – 2 pm. Make sure to bring your own discs, and park along 1 Street NE. Fire Coulee Discs will be set up in the campground to buy discs from and teach techniques to better your game! TOOLS FOR SCHOOL – Cash/cheque donations can be made at the Village Office (8:30 – 4:30 Monday to Friday) until mid-September. Please make cheques payable to Kneehill County – FCSS (Tools for School). To access program contact Kneehill Regional FCSS at 403-443-3800 or angie@krfcss.com.
CANADIAN FOODGRAINS BANK SUPPER – Come out to C.C. Toews Farm on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 5 – 7 pm for the annual Canadian Foodgrains Supper event. There will be a silent auction this year! Supper will be served take out or sit down. For further info contact Earl Jeninga @ 403-546-4050.
