2026 TAX NOTICES
In accordance with the Municipal Government Act R.S.A. 2000 M-26 and amendments thereto, notice is hereby given that the 2026 Property Tax notices have been mailed as of June 8, 2026, to the Village of Linden ratepayers. Ratepayers who did not receive their tax notice by the end of June should contact the Village of Linden Office.
Property taxes are due July 31, 2026.
The Village of Linden offers a Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) for ease of payment on your tax account. If you are interested in signing up or would like some more information, contact the Office at 403-546-3888. Notification of any changes or cancellations of this program needs to be brought to the Office seven (7) days prior to the end of the month. You can pay your taxes through online banking or at the Office via cheque, debit, Mastercard or VISA.
PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG
The Office has been made aware of an increase in dog waste around the Village. Please ensure to pick up your dog’s waste. Leaving messes on sidewalks, parks, and neighbours’ yards creates unpleasant odours, damages landscaping, poses health risks and can lead to municipal fines. The Village provides bags at stations located in the coulee or along the walking path on the East Side of town. Please use these stations if you do not have your own bags and utilize garbage cans located around Linden.

The following Development Permit for a discretionary use has been approved by the Municipal Planning Commission in accordance with the Village of Linden Land Use Bylaw 2023-10.

The above-mentioned permit shall not be valid until twenty-one (21) days after the date of the notice is published in the newspaper (June 17, 2026). Further information regarding this application may be obtained from the Village of Linden Development Officer at 403-546-3888, clerk2@linden.ca.
If you wish to appeal any of the above decisions, you must submit a written notice of appeal to: PRMS Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, The Clerk of the ISDAB, c/o Palliser Regional Municipal Services, Drawer 1900, Hanna, AB T0J 1P0, within twenty-one (21) days of the date that the applicant is notified in writing.
ANNUAL FIREMEN’S PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Join the Linden Fire Department on July 11, 2026, from 7 am – 10 am for a delicious pancake breakfast served at the Linden Fire Hall (115 Central Ave W). Breakfast is prepared by the Village of Linden’s volunteer firefighters. Donations are appreciated.
