NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ON ANY GREEN SPACE WITHIN THE VILLAGE LIMITS – Quads, ATV's dune buggy's or side by sides are prohibited on any roadway or green space in the village. Bylaw officers are cracking down on this issue.

COUNCIL MEETINGS – Regular meetings held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 7 PM at the Village Office. The public is welcome to attend these meetings.

BURNABLE RUBBLE PICKUP – The Village Public Works department will be picking up burnable rubble on Wednesdays. Please ensure that your burnable debris is in an orange or clear bag. These will only be picked up on Wednesdays from the front curb NOT the alley. Things that can be in these bags are grass clippings, yard debris. Branches and lumber need to be bundled, cut to less than 3 foot lengths and tied (be sure there is no nails or screws in lumber).

LINDEN SPORTS DAY is just over three weeks away on June 14th, 2014. It is the Village of Linden's 50th Anniversary and the Linden & District Agricultural Society's 25th Anniversary.
The theme this year is:

The day will begin with breakfast at the skating rink from 7 AM – 9 AM sponsored by the Linden Business Assoc. Parade judging will begin at 9:30 AM with the parade starting at 10 AM. From 11 AM to 4 PM there will activities at the sports grounds. The Linden Idol talent show returns. There will be BBQ beef dinner from 5 PM – 7 PM. The day will end with a fireworks display at dusk. WEED SPRAYING – Spring has sprung and we start thinking about flowers and green grass, unfortunately weeds also appear. The annual spraying to help prevent weeds will be happening during the last two weeks of May, weather permitting. If you have any sensitivity, please be sure to avoid the open grassy areas and keep your windows closed until it has time to settle.
