FIRE BAN - IN EFFECT

A Fire Ban is now in effect for the Town of Three Hills, due to limited water supply.
• Under a fire ban, no campfires, backyard fires, or charcoal briquettes are allowed.
• Gas or propane stoves/barbeques and portable propane fire pits ARE allowed.
• All fire permits are suspended or cancelled, and no new fire permits will be issued.
Note: This restriction only applies to the Town of Three Hills.

Franchise Fee Increase Notice
Please be advised the Town of Three Hills is proposing to increase the local access fee, which is charged to ATCO Electric for use of the municipal lands for is power lines effective January 1, 2023. The fee is recovered by ATCO Electric from its customers as the local franchise fee on electrical billings all customers that receive electric service in the Town of Three Hills.
The Franchise fee will be increased from 8.0% to 9.5% on the delivery charges of ATCO Electric excluding energy related riders. The average residential increase has been estimated at $1.98 per month on an average consumption of 650 kwh.
Residents of the Town of Three Hills have until October 21, 2022 to make their concerns known in writing by contacting:
