The 2013 Kneehill Community Services Directory has been updated and hard copies are now available throughout the Kneehill area. The Directory lists contact information for non-profit community, support and recreational organizations, as well as all levels of government and agencies serving the communities of Acme, Carbon, Linden, Three Hills, Trochu and Kneehill County. A hard copy is available at our office or at www.krfcss.com under Services -> Community Services Directory.  This is a project of Kneehill Regional FCSS; you can contact  the  Kneehill  Regional  FCSS office at 403-443-3800 if you would like your organization or group to be included in the next edition or if information requires updating.
PUBLIC NOTICE
DEVELOPMENT PERMIT:
Take notice that the following permit(s) for the proposed uses listed below has been issued in accordance with the Land Use Bylaw No. 1309-09 and any amendments thereto, of the Town of Three Hills:
That  Development  Permit  No:  61/900.004/13  by   Rehoboth Christian  Ministries  to  move  their  Recycling  Depot  for  the collection  and  storing  of  ARMA  eligible  items  from  115  –  4th Avenue  SE  to  Lot  15,  Block  20,  Plan  4304AH  (523  Main  Street) Land  Use  District  –  C-B  –  Central  Commercial  District  be approved conditional upon:
A)  the provision of an outside storage area for the collection of all recyclable items be constructed and screened from adjacent sites and public thoroughfares by adequate fencing, satisfactory to the Municipal Planning Commission; and
B)  that the outside storage area for the recyclable items is adequately identified by either a name or symbol satisfactory to the Municipal Planning Commission; and
C)  in accordance with the Town of Three Hills Land Use Bylaw
1309-09;
The above permit(s) shall become valid after a lapse of fourteen (14)
days from the date of the newspaper in which this notice appears.
Anyone who feels prejudicially affected by this permit may appeal the permit by filing notice of appeal by 4:00 PM, Wednesday February 13th,
2013 and paying the applicable fees. In the event of an appeal being filed, all interested parties will be notified.
Further information regarding this permit(s) may be obtained from the Town Office at 135-2nd  Ave. S. Three Hills, Alberta.
Any person wishing to appeal this decision may do so in writing to: The Secretary, Development Appeal Board, Box 610, Three Hills, Alberta T0M 2A0.

That  Development  Permit  No.  61/900.002/13  by Terry  Nakaska for a 20% height relaxation in the construction of a garage on Lot 41, Block 7, Plan 0913674 (1137 – 8th Street NE) Land Use Classification R-2 – Residential District be approved:
A)  in accordance with the Town of Three Hills Land Use Bylaw
1309-09;
B)  that a 20% height relaxation be granted to increase the max- imum height of the garage from 15 feet to 18 feet on Lot 41, Block 7, Plan 0913674
C)  that all construction must be in accordance with the Alberta
Building Code; and
D)  all outside storage of construction material and equipment be screened from adjacent sites and public thoroughfares;
