CLARIFICATION OF ROAD CLOSURE
"Ownership of public roads in a municipality is vested in the Crown in right of Alberta. An application can be made to Council for a road closure by way of a bylaw or Council resolution. The bylaw must state the purpose of the closure i.e., to public travel only, for lease or for creation of a title, and must be advertised. The closure of public roads requires approval from the Minister of Transportation. Please note, that the use of these public roads still exist in respect of that land, but once approved are the responsibility of the applicant."
For more information contact the Town of Three Hills.

Access KidSport Kneehill
KidSport Kneehill is a volunteer committee that believes all children should have the opportunity to participate in organized sports. To help make this possible, KidSport Kneehill provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organize sports. KidSport Kneehill has increased the available funding for young athletes to $275.00 per child per year. The increase is a response to escalating costs for registration in organized sport. This increase would not be possible without the generous support of local private and corporate donors. Thank-you! It is our hope that qualified families will continue to enrol their children in organized sport activities. School sports, minor hockey, pond hockey, curling, figure skating, soccer, swimming, dance, fencing...there is something for everyone! Applications are available in our schools, town/village offices, libraries, and on-line at www.kidsport.ab.ca. If you have any questions regarding KidSport Kneehill funding please call 403-443-3800.

Spring is here, HOORAY!
But so is the muck and mud! Unfortunately, we are unable to do anything about the condition of the dirt roads and alleyways until the Spring runoff is over and the ground has dried up. Please bear with us and enjoy the warmer weather!
