Maternity Leave (Temporary Full-Time)

The Town of Three Hills is currently accepting applications for an Admin Clerk to cover a Maternity Leave. Primary responsibilities may involve the processing of Accounts Payable and Property Taxes. The secondary function of this classification will be to assist in serving the public through back-up reception duties including answering the telephone and serving customers at the front counter. Employee may receive daily assignments or be given responsibility over specific tasks or projects. Required skills include office and accounting experience with a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of municipal accounting and coding systems would be preferred.
This is a temporary full-time position, to cover a maternity leave. Tentative end date is the end of June 2015. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day.

The Town of Three Hills is currently seeking a web designer for the following:

• Search Engine Optimization & Marketing
Proposals must be received in a sealed envelope at the Three Hills Town Office located at 135 Second Avenue SE no later than 4 PM on August 11, 2014. Please no faxed or emailed copies.
Proposals to include a break down of costs associated with all items listed above. The website design will need to be user friendly to ensure that Town Staff can be trained to take care of day to day general maintenance of the website.

DEVELOPMENT PERMIT:

Take notice that the following permit(s) for the proposed uses listed below have been issued in accordance with Land Use Bylaw and any amendments thereto, of the Town of Three Hills:
Development Permit Application No: 61/900.038/14 by Canadian National Railway located on C.N.R. 1082 RY (213 - 1st Avenue NE) Land Use Classification M-2 – Railway Industrial District to replace the existing wooden antenna mast with a self-supported steel communications tower.
Development Permit Application No: 61/900.040/14 by Ken & Kay Klassen to temporarily place a Mobile Home on lot 7, Block 1, Plan 7410883 (410 – 5th Street SE) Land Use Classification MH – Mobile Home Subdivision District.
The above permit(s) shall become valid after a lapse of fourteen (14) days from the date of the newspaper in which this notice appears.
Anyone who feels prejudicially affected by this permit may appeal the permit by filing notice of appeal by 4:00 PM Wednesday August 13th, 2014 and paying the applicable fees. In the event of an appeal being filed, all interested parties will be notified.
