FACILITY ATTENDANT I
Permanent Full-Time
The role of the Facility Attendant I is to perform custodial duties and minor maintenance to ensure parks, green areas, and facilities are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner.
The Facility Attendant shall provide management with accurate and timely information to ensure municipal operations are maintained in an effective and efficient manner.
It is also the responsibility of the Facility Attendant I to maintain these responsibilities to ensure the health, safety, and security of the community.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Successful completion of a Grade 12 diploma or GED certificate; and
• Minimum of a valid Class 5 Drivers License; and
• No previous experience is required – entry level position.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Practice and encourage safe work behaviors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to use discretion regarding confidential matters.
• Ability to work cooperatively with the management team and support other departments.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently operate equipment including but not limited to: floor polishers, steam cleaners, lawn mowers, weed whips, variety of other hand tools required in minor building maintenance.
• Ability to make minor repairs and undertake standard maintenance procedures on all equipment they operate.
• Ability to perform manual labour.
WORK HOURS: Monday – Sunday, 8 hours per day. This position requires a modified work schedule to account for seasonal and/or operational requirements.
Must be able to work weekends.
RATE OF PAY: As per CUPE Local 417-05 Collective Agreement.

ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK II
Permanent Full-Time
The primary function of Employees in this classification may involve the processing of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Utilities and Property Taxes. The secondary function of this classification will be to assist in serving the public through back-up reception duties including answering the telephone and serving customers at the front counter. Employee may receive daily assignments or be given responsibility over specific tasks or projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Successful completion of a grade 12 diploma or GED certificate.
• Post-secondary education in accounting or business required; related work experience may be substituted for some or all of the educational requirement.
• High level of competency with Microsoft Excel essential.
• Must have effective communication skills and the ability to understand oral and written instructions.
• Municipal experience a definite asset.
WORK HOURS: Full Time, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week.

Aquatic Centre - Lifeguard
The Town of Three Hills is currently accepting applications for Lifeguards. Reporting to the Aquatic Centre Management, you will provide safe, enjoyable aquatic opportunities for the public through the provision of lifeguarding and instructional services.
Interested candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age and possess the following certifications:
• National Lifeguard
• Standard First Aid
• Water Safety Instructor
Candidates must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends. Hours are a maximum of 37.5 per week and days may vary depending on the Aquatic Centre schedule and operating requirements.
