FIRE BAN - IN EFFECT

A Fire Ban is now in effect for the Town of Three Hills, due to limited water supply.

• Under a fire ban, no campfires, backyard fires, or charcoal briquettes are allowed.

• Gas or propane stoves/barbeques and portable propane fire pits ARE allowed.

• All fire permits are suspended or cancelled, and no new fire permits will be issued.

Note: This restriction only applies to the Town of Three Hills.

Municipal Development Plan Bylaw 1486-22

On February 27, 2017, the Town adopted a Municipal Development Plan (MDP) with Bylaw 1397-17. Council and Administration have been working over the past couple of months to align our MDP with our other statutory plans such as the Land Use Bylaw and the Intermunicipal Development Plan.

PUMPHOUSE UPDATE

On behalf of Council and Administration, would like to thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding during the last few months as we navigate through the incident at the pumphouse on April 26, 2022. There are several updates we would like to share. First, as we suspected earlier this summer, we received confirmation from our engineers and insurers that the pumphouse is completely written off, thus requiring full demolition and reconstruction.
