The municipal auditor will be attending the May 12th meeting to present the 2013 financial statement.
Public is welcome to attend council meetings, they begin at 6:00 PM in council chambers.
2013 Volunteer of the Year
Nominations for "2013 Volunteer of the Year" are now being accepted. The nomination must be in writing and signed; must be submitted by May 31st, 2014 by someone other than a close family member, and must be a resident of Trochu or area who has not previously received this award.

Summer Employment Opportunity
Town of Trochu
The Town of Trochu is now accepting resumes for summer student employees.
Main duties will be mowing and weed whipping. Successful applicants must have a valid driver's license. Job runs from May 1 to August 31 and depends on funding from the Canada Summer Jobs grant. Resumes can be dropped off at the Town Office or sent to the attention of Carl Peterson Box 340, Trochu, AB T0M 2C0 or emailed to opdirector@town.trochu.ab.ca
