TROCHU AND DISTRICT MUSEUM SPRING PLANT SALE
Sat. May 23 starting at 9:00 AM in front of the museum.
This socially spaced sale will include perennials and annuals, flowers and vegetables. Donations of plants can be dropped at the museum after the long weekend. Museum garage sale is planned for later in the summer.

As per Town of Trochu Land Use Bylaw 2015-09, this publication serves as notice that Development Permit #2020-05, for a detached garage at #1 Regency Close has been conditionally approved. Further information on this permit and Land Use Bylaw 2015-09 can be viewed on our website (town.trochu.ab.ca).
For the purposes of this permit, appeals must be made by noon on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020. Appeals must be accompanied by a $300 appeal fee and must be made in writing to Carl Peterson, Development Officer, Town of Trochu, Box 340, Trochu, AB, T0M 2C0.

We have had to cancel TIDY UP TROCHU due to COVID-19 regulations but have come up with some alternatives and are asking Trochu residents for help.
For the month of May, the Town Office and the White Public Works Shop on Arena Ave will be setting out garbage bags and displaying a map with all the green spaces (including areas previously covered by Tro-Val students) and if you and your family would like to get outside and help, here’s how;
• pick up a bag
• choose a space (maps available on Facebook, Website or Posted on our office window)
• give us a call and we will mark off your chosen area, grab some gloves and enjoy some fresh air
• leave the bag(s) out on Wednesday with your household garbage or beside one of the town receptacles along the paths
• please call if you encounter anything you are unable to bag
Also, for anyone that has no way to transport their spring yard refuse or other items to the transfer site, we will have a one day pick up on Monday, May 25. Please have it piled at the back of your property and call us with your address.
