Seniors Outreach takes possession of new bus

Seniors Outreach had their new bus delivered on Friday, March 4, and was celebrated with an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, with MLA Nathan Cooper, doing the honours.

Board Chairman Dennis Punter welcomed the assembled guests and spectators and introduced the dignitaries.

Seniors Outreach Program Administrator passed on these details concerning the bus, the persons involved in organizing the purchase, and the funding of it.

…major funders: Alberta Culture, Multiculturalism, and the Status of Women Community Initiatives Program Capital grant, AGLC funding, the Estate of Edward Miller,Three Hills and District Agricultural Society, the Three Hills Legion #92, Three Hills Elks #190, a number of smaller donors directly to Seniors Outreach and through the Three Hills Ministerial (2021 Easter Service Donations), and the Seniors Outreach Fall Turkey Supper funds (2020).

The new bus replaces the 2007 model. The old bus will be sold.
