Three Hills RCMP Respond To 233 Calls To Service In April

Three Hills RCMP responded to 233 calls to service in the month of April 2023.

There were three 911 hang-ups, two abductions contravening a court order - both unfounded, two animal calls (dogs), and six assaults - five charged, one unfounded and one assist to the general public.

RCMP members assisted two other police agencies. There was one being unlawfully in a dwelling house- victim declined to proceed, five breaches of peace - two domestic, one break and entry (B and E) to a business (assist), two B and E other (sheds/garages), three residential B and E’s - one unfounded and five community events.

In the month of April, there was one warrant apprehension, one criminal breach of trust, five criminal harassments - three unfounded, one victim declined to proceed, four dangerous driving (provincial act), two dangerous operations of a motor vehicle- criminal - one charged, 13 disobey court order - three unfounded and one drive while disqualified - charged.

There were 54 tickets processed, one fail to stop or remain at an accident scene, three false alarms, two fraud under $5,000 - one unfounded and one harassing communication - victim declined to proceed.

There was one invitation to sexual touching - unfounded, four items lost/found, 11 mental health calls, four mischiefs obstructing enjoyment of property - two declined to proceed and nine bylaw infractions.

There was one flight from police, one count of prostitution, four operating a motor vehicle while impaired - one drug - three alcohol, nine other provincial files (mostly landlord/tenant), eight theft under $5,000 - one charged - two victims declined to proceed and one possession of crystal meth.

There was two possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 - one unfounded, one alcohol-related roadside suspension, three sexual offender compliance checks and three sexual assaults - one unfounded.

Police dealt with two suspicious person/vehicle files, one theft of a minivan and one stolen truck, 18 collisions - mostly deer, eight trespass files, eight uttering threats against a person - two charged - one victim declined to proceed, 11 well-being checks and six street checks.
