TroVal Students Support Centennial Through Promotional Products

Centennial Sales is a Junior Achievement company run by Grade 9 and 10 students at Trochu Valley School who will receive credit for taking the course. The company sells a range of T-shirts, bumper stickers and water bottles all to help the community unite and celebrate Trochu's centennial birthday.

Each department has a unique role in the company. Information Technology is responsible for the email address and making power-points for our school televisions. Marketing and Sales is in charge of advertising and selling the product. Human Resources are in charge of dealing with company members as well as the public. The department of finance is responsible for the calculation of sales, profit, return on investments and overall organization of the money for our business. The last, but most crucial department is production. This department is responsible for ordering our merchandise and helping distribute it. Having all these departments helps this school company feel like an actual working business.
