Collision results in Minor Injuries

Three Hills RCMP and Emergency Personnel were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, May 20 at about 2:10 pm.
A southbound pickup was attempting to turn east at the Luoma intersection, north of Three Hills on Highway 21, when a southbound car slammed into its rear.
The female passenger in the car's front seat had to be extricated and was road ambulanced to Three Hills Health Centre with minor injuries. The male driver and the two children, in the rear seat, were removed from the wreck and transported to Three Hills Health Centre where they were treated and released. The driver of the pickup escaped injury.
RCMP charged the driver of the car with a Traffic Safety Act offence.
Sgt. Joe Sangster commented that EMS and Fire did a tremendous job. Three Hills Victim Services were also at the scene to provide assistance.
