Cruise Nite/Motorcycle Show goes this weekend

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines.
The time has come for the 29th Annual Three Hills Street Freaks Cruise Nite/Show and Shine/Swap Meet and the Second Annual Three Hills and District Chamber of Commerce Motorcycle Show and Cabaret this Saturday, June 5.
The day begins with a terrific Cruise Day Breakfast from 9 am to 11 am at the Knox United Church. Enjoy sausages, eggs, pancakes and beans all for $7 adults and $3 children. Everyone is welcome and proceeds from the event will be donated to Kids Camp Kasota.
The registration line-up begins at about 10 am for clean, street legal cars and trucks of special interest. The $10 registration fee will be donated to local charities.
The Show and Shine runs from noon to 5 pm followed by the Cruise from 5 pm to 7 pm.
As always, an assortment of food booths will be operated by non-profit groups and the west end of Main Street will see various Swap Meet vendors sell a variety of auto-related products, clothing and collectables.
A new addition to the show is a Full Chassis Dyno, capable of measuring up to 1500 horsepower. It'll be located near the west end of Main Street and a nominal fee will be charged to have your vehicle measured.
As always, Show and Shine participants will be judged by the Street Freaks with first, second and third place Club Choice Awards presented at 4:30 pm.
The "Big L" is a "pet-free zone". Anyone attending is asked to leave your pets at home. And remember, the event will be well-policed so you are urged to play by the rules of the road.
The second annual Motorcycle Show, sponsored by the Three Hills and District Chamber of Commerce, goes at Centennial Place (the Arena). Exhibitors can arrive as early as 10 am with the show running from noon to 5 pm.
All motorcycle owners are invited to show their bike(s) as this is an "all year, make and model show". There is no registration fee for exhibitors. Spectator admission is $5 per adults, 12-17 years $3 and children under 12 free.
After a full day of taking in the sights, you'll be ready to kick back and enjoy the retro rock sounds of "Rewind" with special guests "Bactrax" at the Three Hills Curling Rink. This is a cabaret, adults only, from 9 pm to 1 am. Admission is $10 at the door.
Proceeds from the Motorcycle Show and Cabaret will be re-invested in Three Hills beautification and events.
