Two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash at the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 27 east, on Friday, August 20 just before 5:00 pm. According to police, the lone male driver of an eastbound blue Chevy was talking on his cell phone and failed to stop at the stop sign. His vehicle collided with a white Dodge carrying two occupants travelling north bound. The Dodge lost control, hit a sign, and a lamp post before rolling approximately three times and landing upright in the northeast ditch. All occupants of each vehicle were wearing seatbelts. There were no major injuries. One passenger was transported to the Three Hills Health Center, was treated and released.
