Three Hills RCMP Detachment welcomes Constable, Bart Warner, accompanied by his wife and three children. Originally from Calgary, Cst. Warner started his career three years ago in Ste Rose Du Lac, Manitoba, as a School Resource Officer. He taught Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), dealt with bullying, and aboriginal policing.
Cst. Warner will be the new School Resource Officer for Delburne, Elnora and Trochu schools during the school year. He will be teaching the D.A.R.E. program to students, putting on presentations, and attending such events as bike rodeos. Cst. Warner will also deal with traffic enforcement around school zones and buses.
Through the summer, and as needed, Cst. Warner will be assigned to general duty for Three Hills and area.
