It was good to be back in the cavernous Prairie dining hall: just a year ago we were there in a huge public meeting to express our belief that the college belonged in Three Hills, not Drumheller. This time, over dessert, we listened to a report card on the institute's present situation. Giving is up, community enthusiasm interest is up, interest in a revitalized first-year Bible program is strong, and new President Mark Maxwell and Development Manager Wayne Nelson pointed to their upcoming Alberta-BC Raving Fan tour with speaker Phil Callaway. It is, as one staff member said after the meeting, encouraging to be part of a team effort that is excited about serving today while looking forward to tomorrow.
