Elnora Bank Robber pleads guilty to charges

June 11, 2010 will be remembered for years to come by staff of ATB Financial in Elnora.
A masked bandit wielding a knife made off with over $19,000 in cash.
After a lengthy investigation by Three Hills RCMP, Jean Herve Veilletter was arrested and charged with robbery armed with a knife, robbery with a disguise and two counts of forcible confinement.
On September 30, 2010 Veilletter pled guilty to these offences, and received seven and one half years in jail. He is also required to pay restitution.
RCMP thank all witnesses who assisted in their investigation resulting in the closure of this file.
