Taking Care of Business

Trochu Valley School & Junior Achievement (JA) joined forces this February to offer 30 Grade 10 students the opportunity to operate 2 business ventures.  Vice-principal Debbie Barkman took the challenge of splitting the students into two separate business ventures.  Tuff Enuff sold custom first aid kits and Fat Jay's offered a full concession at the school.  Both business ventures were a success due to the hard work of the students and the support of the communities at large.

The Three Hills RCMP has received a report of a cat being shot with a pellet. This incident occurred in The Town of Three Hills sometime in the month of May. Vet bills to have this animal treated was expensive. Furthermore, this act is a criminal offence Section 446 of the Criminal Code of Canada with a possible punishment of six months in custody and a fine of a $2000. It was graduation time at Three Hills Playschool on Thursday, June 10. Parents, grandparents and friends gathered to support their little ones.
