It has been 100 years since Acme was incorporated as a Village, back on July 10, 1910, the very same day that the first passenger and freight train arrived at the Village. The name was given to the community by railroad surveyors for being the highest (most northern) point of the route at that time. 29TH Annual Cruise Nite draws big numbers

It was all smiles on Saturday, June 5 as the Three Hills Street Freaks welcomed sunshine, exhibitors and thousands of spectators to the 29th annual Cruise Nite/Show and Shine and Swap Meet.
Street Freaks Chair Kevin Price reports that a solid 500 vehicles were registered for the Show and Shine with an equal amount of special interest vehicles parked on side streets.
The big hit of the event was the "Dyno" that measured vehicle horsepower. The Dyno was busy from 9 am to 5 pm with the owner comment
