Linden Sports Day Made It Through The Rain

 

The annual Linden Sports Day organized by the Linden and District Agricultural Society started with a threat of rain. Most early risers received their business association sponsored breakfast in comfort but the later risers got hit with some rain, scattering the final lineup of the morning. Rob Naylor Splash Park - Officially Open

The late Councillor Rob Naylor envisioned a Splash Park to entertain the young families of the community and on Saturday, June 11, that goal was achieved at the official grand opening of the water park in his name, the Rob Naylor Splash Park.
Norm Campion, Manager of Recreation and Community Services, worked with Rob to include a wading pool in the plan. Master Pools, of Calgary, and Questic, of Sherwood Park, made the plan a reality.
