Conditions a factor in MVC

 

A single vehicle MVC on Hwy. 21 near twp 31-0 involved a full-size SUV.  The vehicle lost control, due to road conditions, crossed the opposing lane and rolled twice.  Five occupants, including threeadults, a four-year-old female, and a two-year-old male were properly restrained in the vehicle.  All were taken to Three Hills Health Center via ambulance.

Linden hosts Discovery Night

 

The Linden & District Agricultural Society was hoping to sell a few bricks at the March 15 Discovery Night at the Cultural Centre.
The 'buy a brick' fundraiser for $20 may become an annual spring fundraiser in the hopes of building a flower garden down in the coulee campground. Acme School Opens Cosmetology Room

 

What was once a tidy little book storage room in a hidden corner of Acme School has now been remodeled into a more practical cosmetology room to serve a higher learning purpose. The little room is plenty big enough for different beautifying stations (manicures, facials, hairstyling, perm wrapping, hair washing/head massage) that give the 14 students enrolled in the course, a more practical space and tools for the hands on aspect of the three-year credited high school course.
