Christmas in April?

While everyone is still thinking snow, the Village of Acme is thinking Christmas. The month of April will again see Alberta RCMP and their road safety partners enhancing their enforcement efforts to reduce the harm caused by motorists disobeying speed limits  throughout the Province of Alberta. The ultimate goal of April's speed enforcement campaign is to increase the number of people obeying the speed limit on Provincial roadways.

Faith Henkel, Manager at St. Mary's Lodge, was happy to accept an automated external defibrillator from Trochu's Ag Society members Joanne Moran, Rick Vickery, and Bruce Campbell. A number of St. Mary's staff members have already received some instruction on how to operate it if the need arises.

RCMP Investigate Home Invasion

 

On March 30th, 2011 the Three Hills RCMP were dispatched to a 911 call of a break and enter in progress on Arena Avenue, Trochu AB. The caller stated that three males were seen kicking in a door at the Kings Court Complex and that all three males entered the residence.
The RCMP were in the area and arrived shortly after receiving the call and apprehended the three males as they exited the residence. The three males were taken into custody without incident. The investigation revealed the males
