For the period of Jan. 8 to Jan. 31, 2011 the Three Hills RCMP had 88 calls for service. The detachment had nine prisoners for the period and 65 charges laid for various offences.

1.  Jan 10, 2011 a Three Hills area man was arrested for possession of stolen property after a search warrant was executed at his property west of Three Hills. He was found to be in possession of a stolen truck and two stolen quads.  He was charged with three counts of possess stolen property.

Driver escapes injury in two vehicle crash

 

The driver of a west-bound Ford Escape is very fortunate that newer vehicles come with air-bag safety features after he collided with an eastbound heavy-duty commercial truck-trailer unit on Hwy 575, about four miles west of Acme.
