Edmonton – Rural Alberta's Development Fund (RADF) is accepting applications for program funding again. The company will distribute the balance of its funds (approximately $30M) over the next 18 months to satisfy its mandate.
The application process, eligibility and funding criteria remain the same as before. However, the company will be placing an emphasis on supporting projects that build community capacity in rural communities of 20,000 or less.

Carbon Campgrounds receive funding

 

Richard Marz, MLA, presented a Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP) grant cheque in the amount of $20, 750.00 to Carbon & District Recreation Board for the electrical upgrade for the Main & East Campground facilities. The Village of Carbon is currently placing advertisements for the tender of this upgrade and anticipating this project being completed by December 15, 2010.

Councillors mark Keiver's Lake joint development

 

Kneehill County and the Town of Three Hills cooperated on a Municipal Sponsorship Program grant (now in its final year) that benefited both communities. It allowed for the provision of walking trails for the residents of Three Hills and playground equipment for the enjoyment of campers at Keiver's Lake.
