Acme Municipal Library has a special corner where often you will see Frances Lukey bent over a scrapbook. Trochu Valley Students get 'PINKED'!

Several Tro-Val students participated in the Second Annual Hair Massacure fundraising campaign, raising over $10,000 to help children affected by cancer. The students either had their hair pinked a little or completely or had their head shaved to raise these funds and awareness in the community. Canada's Outstanding Young Farmers Program, spotlighting and promoting young agricultural leaders, recently selected four farming couples to compete for the title Alberta's Outstanding Young Farmer.
The Alberta 2011 semi finalists are:

Representatives for Covenant Health and St. Mary's Health Care Centre (Trochu) presented Kneehill County Council, at its Feb. 8 meeting, with plans for building a new Trochu facility and for now, the committee would like a letter of support from the County to assist with the grant application. The delegation was introduced as Marilyn Weber, Ron Zook, and Kevin Cowan.
