At Kneehill County's July 27 meeting, a motion was approved to have Administration draft a by-law to remove the stop signs from the east-west direction of the four-way stop on the PBI road, two miles north of town at TWP 32-2 and RR 24-0. Traffic counts had been in effect at this intersection from June 28 to July 13. Three Hills Health Centre Site Leader Michelle Shereck accepts a cheque for $1,266 from Mark Hosking, Three Hills and District Chamber of Commerce President. The funds were raised at a recent Three Hills and District Chamber of Commerce Fun Two Ball Golf Tournament. This is the Chamber's Second Annual Tournament with proceeds going to Health Centre needs.

Crop exports at ten year high
Winnipeg - The crop year ended showing decade-high wheat exports and total grain exports.
Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) president and CEO Ian White said the 2009-10 crop year was notable for strong sales in an extremely competitive world market.
"We undertook a very strategic sales program that enabled us to increase our exports in an aggressively competitive international market that was saturated with grain," White said today at the CWB's annual crop year-end news conference.
