BOAKE, Guy Julius

Guy passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 26, 2022, at the age of 93. Guy was the sixth of eleven children raised on Downsview farm east of Acme. Guy is survived by daughter Gail Schrock, sons Darryl, Kevin (Debbi), Eldon, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, sister Leta Wise, and numerous nieces & nephews. Rose Honecker was born in Kerrobert, SK to Paul and Lina (Schewe) Wenzel, shortly after their immigration from Germany. Starting a new life just at the beginning of the 1930’s drought and depression was very challenging.

Daisy Selma Megli passed away in Abbotsford, BC, on December 24, 2021, at age 91. Daisy was born on a farm in McMahon, Saskatchewan; the third of six children born to Peter and Helena Martens.
