Pat passed away peacefully in his home on the Carney family farm where, with the exception of a few short stints of off farm work, he lived and worked his entire life. The family of Madelyn Christie sadly announce her passing on June 26, 2020 at the age of 94 years. Madelyn was born in Calgary on February 1, 1928, the 5th of 6 children. Guy passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 26, 2022, at the age of 93. Guy was the sixth of eleven children raised on Downsview farm east of Acme. Rose Honecker was born in Kerrobert, SK to Paul and Lina (Schewe) Wenzel, shortly after their immigration from Germany. Starting a new life just at the beginning of the 1930’s drought and depression was very challenging.
