Marian Delores Kesterke, age 86 joined Our Father in heaven on June 21, 2023. She was born December 22, 1936 in Lustre, Montana to Pete and Margaret Peters. Marian was the 6th child in a family of 11. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother and was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Elmer Kesterke and son Leroy. She is survived by her children Ralph Kesterke, Carol Schiele, Karen (Doug) Fenton and her grandchildren Scott, Brent, Brady, Paige, Kaitlyn and Ethan as well as numerous other family and friends. Marian was a wonderful farm wife and longtime member of the Trochu Baptist Church. She graduated from PBI in 1962 and in 1973 met and married Elmer Kesterke. She was always looking out for those around her. Marian took on the role of mother for Leroy, Ralph and Carol before having her daughter Karen, dedicating her life to the care of her family. Her kind and gentle spirit has touched many people and she will forever be in our hearts. May her memory serve as an everlasting reminder of the beauty and grace that can be found in the world. Services will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Trochu Baptist Church at 2:00pm. Marian will be laid to rest at the Trochu Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to STARS.
