ADRIAN, Randall Bruce

Obit Randall Bruce Adrian

February 23, 1963 to November 17, 2023

Randy was born in Spirit River, AB to Wilbert and Marina Adrian and was welcomed into the family by three older siblings. The family lived in various towns throughout his childhood but one of his favorites was Fort Vermilion where his fondness of ski-doo’s was realized. In 1976 the family moved to Trochu, AB where he eventually met his wife Cindy Haskell and they were married on July 16, 1988. They lived in Red Deer as well as Trochu where he was involved in mechanics and eventually obtained his Red Seal. It was in Trochu where he discovered another passion – golfing, and many hours were spent on the Trochu golf course over the years. Randy and Cindy have two children Shawny (born in April 1997) and Chandler (born in April 2000) and in 2001 they moved to Edmonton where he worked at All Weather Windows until 2013. Randy loved camping, camp fires, rafting on the Red Deer River, spending time with his family and for many years volunteered at Deer Valley Meadows with his family to support his father’s singing group. Randy’s signature look (with one of his front teeth missing) was due to Shawny and a water slide incident when she was very young. In 2015 he was joined by his father and son and took a trip to Manitoba to watch Chandler play in the Western Canada bantam baseball championships. Three generations of Adrian men together must have been fun! Randy is survived by his wife Cindy, daughter Shawny (Robert), son Chandler (Haylee), his mother Marina Adrian, father-in-law Bud Haskell and his wife Barb, brother Terry (Rhonda), sister Brenda and his other sister Karen (Len), sister-in-law Cheryl (Bill), numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Wilbert Adrian. Memorial service was held Friday, November 24, 2023 and can be viewed on YouTube Trochu Baptist Church Randy Adrian Memorial Service.
