PAINTER, Donald Allen (Duck)


PAINTER, Donald Allen (Duck) - Donald Painter was born Sept.14, 1959 and passed away at the Red Deer Hospital June 6, 2011 at the age of 51. Donald was the sixth child born to Allen and Elsie Painter. He enjoyed everything about life, he played baseball and hockey, curled and loved to dance. He lived on the family farm most of his life until Donald and his mom bought a house in Trochu. He worked at UFA in Trochu pumping gas and hauling fuel to farms, he also worked at the Trochu Meat Processors for 10 years. The last couple years he worked at the Trochu Golf course and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with people. He was always a happy-go-lucky guy who everyone enjoyed being around. He also was a member of the Trochu Elks for 26 years. He will be dearly and forever missed by his mom Elsie Painter, brother Robert (Laurie) Painter of Huxley, sisters Norma (Logan) McPhee of Calgary, Beverley (Wayne) Marek of Delburne, Faye (David) Hibbs of Huxley, Louise Duff (Wes Grieves) of Lethbridge, Christine Painter of Trochu, many nieces and nephews and a special friend Robin Bourcier of Red Deer. Donald was predeceased by Allen Painter and Gerald Painter. A memorial was held on June 610 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Huxley Hall.
