TUCKER, Bertram William (BERT)~July 6, 1937- June 8, 2010~Bert passed peacefully in his sleep ending his courageous battle against cancer. He is survived and loved by his Wife, Jean of Elnora, AB. His sisters; Frances Swanson and family of Calgary, as well as Barbara Tucker of Camrose. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sons, Leonard and Kenneth Tucker, and by his three grandchildren Ryan, Jessica and Alexander Tucker. Bert touched many lives in his travels through the trucking and oil and gas industries. For many years he also influenced the sport shooting community of this province as well. Bert always made time to have a coffee and get to know the people around him, his good humour and generosity will be missed. A celebration of his life was held at the Elnora Community Center Saturday, June 12 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to The Canadian Cancer Society; The Heart and Stroke Foundation; The Red Deer Hospice Society.
