LEISCHNER~Gerald Bruce Leischner passed away suddenly on June 5, 2010 at the age of 50 years. Gerry attended school at Wimborne, Torrington and Trochu schools. After high school, he became an accomplished grain buyer working for Alberta Wheat Pool.  He then was the manager of the Turbo Service Station in Olds before going to Walburn Agri Services in Linden where he worked for 17 years until his passing.  In his spare time, he enjoyed riding horses in the west country, putting miles on his Harley and working on his beloved acreage. Gerry will be sadly missed by his sister Arlys (Lorne) Davis; brothers Rick (Betty), Murray (Ruth), Steven (Janet); seven nieces and nephews; one great-niece and great-nephew; his friend Dawn as well as numerous family members and close friends. Funeral services were held on Friday June 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Olds with Harold Hunter officiating.  Interment was held at the Torrington Cemetery.  Memorial tributes may be made directly to the Children's Wish Foundation.  Heartland Funeral Services Ltd, Olds entrusted with arrangements. 403-507-8610 www.heartlandfuneralservices.com 1j16c
