BENNETT, Norman David

June 4, 1954 - April 21, 2021

(age 66)

It is with great sadness the family of Norm announces the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Norm was born in Three Hills, Alberta, son of Roy and Muriel Bennett, the middle son, with brothers Ken (Donna) and Dean (Arlene). Loving husband to Patricia (Trish) Wilson. Loving father to Chris (Colleen Gowland) and Curtis and Grandpa to Calvin David. Norm was a stonemason by trade and to all that knew him and had the pleasure of working beside him can attest to the fact that Norm was one of the best! Hard work and honesty were the traits that Norm showed in everything he did. Most of you know Norm as being soft spoken but with a dry sarcastic sense of humor, he was a friend to many, but family was his first priority. Norm’s sons were so very blessed to have a father that was an amazing role model and taught them to be strong, to work hard, do everything to the best of your ability and love life. Both boys following in their father’s footsteps in the Masonry trade made Norm so proud. But as many of you know the birth of Calvin was his latest treasure, all you had to do was ask how his Grandson was and Norm’s smile told the story. Holly the Pug is distraught, missing her car rides and treats and will be lost without her master. Rest in Peace, love you forever and always. Donations in memory of Norm can be made to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
