Doreen Elizabeth Joan Shearlaw was born September 15, 1923, at Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England, to parents Louisa and Robert Hildrew. Doreen died suddenly in her Three Hills home Tuesday, June 21, at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by a brother and sister (both in their infancy), her parents Robert and Louisa, husband Ronald and son-in-law Trevor. Doreen grew up in Brighton, England. She worked at the Rotting Dean school for girls and then became a telephone operator during World War II.
