Jenny Gordon passed away in the early hours of October 29, 2022 at the age of 93. Jenny was born on May 7, 1929 in Standard, Alberta to Nikolai and Katrina Beck. She was the fourth of seven children. The family lived north of Cluny where Jenny attended the local rural school. After high school graduation Jenny enrolled in normal school in Calgary to become a teacher. James Ivan Sailer was born on the farm 5 miles north of Trochu on December 30, 1938. He was the fifth of six children born to Henry and Emma Sailer. He attended school in Huxley for grades 1-9. At age fifteen, he quit school and joined the farming operation with his Dad and brother Ray.
