PENNER, Catharina (Katie) was the third child of fifteen, born to Lawrence and Barbara Richter in Rasdat, Saskatchewan on October 19, 1919. Her family farmed in the area barely surviving in the depression years of the 1930's. BONDAR, Pearl (Afonaseff) passed away on November 10, 2010 at the age of 102 years. She passed away from pneumonia after a brief stay in the Three Hills Hospital. She has lived the Three Hills Robertson Manor and Golden Hills Lodge, since her husband Henry passed away on January 17, 1995. Pearl came to Canada in 1924 from Balchik, Bulgaria.
